Malnutrition among Pre-School Children & Women in India

The cost of 30 'ladus' of the above mentioned preparation is 90 Rs, which comes to 3 Rupees per 'ladu'. These 'ladus' are prepared by a Nutritionist at Pune and are transported to Dervan on weekly basis. The distance is about 250 kms. This involves  transportation cost. After the 'ladus' reach Dervan they are temporarily stored and delivered at each village on weekly basis. This involves transportation cost, storage and packaging cost.
