Malnutrition among Pre-School Children & Women in India

The monthly weights of the children will be recorded and each child entering Grade I or becoming Normal and remaining in Grade I or Normal for three consecutive months will be removed from the target group and monitored hence forth. On the other hand new children becoming Grade II, III or IV will be included in the target group to receive supplements. Also in each monthly survey the new pregnant ladies will be included to receive the benefits and those who have completed six months of lactation will be removed from the beneficiary group. More new villages will be surveyed simultaneously so as to add to the target group and maintain nearly constant number of beneficiaries all the time.
